Styrkeprøven Rett Vest is an ultramarathon held in the mountains of Bergen on the last weekend of August. The course, which stretches approximately 45 km from Gullbotn to Kjøkkelvik, has a total elevation gain of over 3000 meters and includes several peaks such as Gullfjellstoppen and Ulriken. Since its inception in 1984, this event has become an annual tradition for many running enthusiasts, with course records of 4 hours and 40 minutes for men and 6 hours and 3 minutes for women. In 2023, Styrkeprøven Rett Vest celebrated its 35th anniversary.
